The plants need to convert carbon dioxide into their food and the nutrients which it receives from outside. Currently around 350ppm CO² in the air it is sufficient for plants to perform photosynthesis. But close to 1000ppm CO² it is needed needed for plants in order to increase production and productivity. Specific measurement and controls of CO² in the greenhouse should be done for natural gas from fuel boiler or flue gas.
